Is my data encrypted?
- Fabric uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)/Transport Layer Security (TLS) to protect data in transit.
- Fabric files are encrypted at rest using 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES).
- SSL/TSL creates a secure tunnel protected by 128-bit or higher Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption.
Has Fabric’s security been audited?
Fabric has passed Google’s CASA Tier 2 certification.
Who can access non-shared files?
Only you.
Who can access shared files?
Only those you invite via email, or who receive the access link from you. Only share an access link with those that you want to access your content.
If the content is published with search engine indexing turned on, then it’ll be discoverable via search engines. You are always able to turn this option or or off.
Can I see who accessed my shared files?
On Pro and Team plans: if you publish the link, you can see what locations and devices it was accessed on, and when.
You can also create multiple publishing links and give each one a unique name – this means that you can give different links to different stakeholders/collaborators and see how they were interacted with.
